Ashley joined Chambers at the beginning of his career, and has remained loyal in his support in the forefront as a barrister and behind the scenes, assisting in the smooth running of his practice.

Ashley has an extensive matrimonial practice, including contact, residence, specific issue and prohibited steps. As well as public and private law children matters, he has a successful ancillary relief practice, including private company and business cases, matrimonial disputes involving pension sharing, transfers of tenancy, trusts of land (TLATA) and co-habitation claims.

Ashley is also a fully qualified Mediator and a Member of the FMA.

Ashley also has a vast array of experience as a civil practitioner including trusts of land, property disputes, Inheritance Act, landlord and tenant, and personal injury matters.

Ashley is also known as our resident artist, and has a keen eye for sketching once pencil in hand. He also likes to relax with a good book, and is a keen wildlife enthusiast.
